Why not get Dark Void?

Ah, read that as "Dark Sector" first time for some reason, which I have.
£2 on Amazon, I'll give it a try.

Ok, think I'm ready to order now:
Resonance of Fate
inFamous 1/2
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
LBP2
Bayonetta
Vanquish
MGS4
Rune Factory Oceans
Dragons Dogma
Demons Souls
Valkyria Chronicles

I have Resonance of Fate. It has some good ideas but I didn't really find it that enjoyable. The plot is really slow and boring and there's a lot of unnecessary time wasting I feel. I'd only pick it up if you really like JRPGs.

Soul Calibur V is mechanically one of the best in the series but it is lacking in content compared to other games in the series. Damn Namco rushed Team Soul in order to pump more man hours into the dozens of Tekkens they're putting out.

Also I'd recommend Persona 4 Arena even if you aren't into Persona. It has a surprisingly good system despite being a spinoff and really good character balance. I don't know how hard core you are but it's a good starting point if you're thinking of becoming hardcore as the game has good high level play but also a lot of nice little handholding mechanics to help you get there.

Also, I almost forgot to congratulate you for joining the PS3 master race. Make sure to place a cloth over your other gaming platforms so they don't gather too much dust.

I could never play fighting games on the ps3 that effectively, because of the analogue sticks. They move really differently from an XBox's. People always go "hurr quit making excuses" but it's true. I can't do my inputs half as well as I can on the XBox.

Upgrade to BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend, and do http://kotaku.com/5982662/how-to-make-a ... -the-store and buy Guilty Gear: Accent Core Plus

Ben: jesus christ the ps3 pad is hopeless for fighters.
There's 3rd party pads that shamelessly copy the 360 layout, though. The 360 pad is pretty good.

And yeah, P4A seems pretty nice. I'll probably be waiting for the price to go down or for someone to share it or something.

Also: apparently another MGS collection is en route, and contains 2,3,4,pw, I don't even know

Asura's Wrath because 6 arms, falling from the moon back to earth, and the most balls-out ridiculously kickass fights I've seen in a game ever.

Honestly in this day and age, Uncharted 1 is *okay* but it's not as impressive as it was at launch. Uncharted 2 is still my favorite. Uncharted 3 is also good, better than 1 but not as good as 2.

They're not terribly groundbreaking but extremely well paced, well polished games.

With some of the smoothest gunplay I've ever seen, for sure.
