I'd have cool fun with that. You could potentially limit yourself to uu pokemon while everyone else has access to ou pokemon.
I don't know how good I am at pokemon

dragalge is a great physical wall, has toxin spikes and can poison things
plus its dragon type, and dragon type is pretty powerful all around
sylveon is a good special wall/support, my sylveon runs wish/protect/moonblast/heal bell, so basically its great at stalling and removing status, heals pokemon or itself that need it, and can ♥♥♥♥ up fighting, dragon, and dark types, which are all pretty common and powerful.

i know people frown on using legendaries in teams but i ♥♥♥♥ love meloetta so much so shes in my team and shes really good
go from normal/psychic to normal/fighting and back? hell yeah. the move that does it has a chance to cause sleep? hell yeah. relic song + close combat ♥♥♥♥ people up, and if they have resistance to fighting, then i can either relic song again or not do it in the first place and use psychic

My best advice is to not give a ♥♥♥♥ what anyone thinks and use whatever you want in wifi battles. You will not be granted the same gesture of respect should you opt out of using legendaries.

Besides, for the most part they can be beaten by more than enough regular pokemon.

dont bother with battles in the actual games what the hell
that takes forever to IV breed your team and ♥♥♥♥
what really matters is the actual battle, spending 60 hours assembling a team is a waste when actually using that team only takes at most 10 minutes at a time.
plus, what if you want to swap out or try something different?
just use pokemon showdown, seriously

Yeah I can't be assed to breed Pokemon myself, though I have total respect for people to do. One day I'd like to make a whole legit team though. I think it would be pretty fun to play with a team you built from the ground up.

This bias people have against legendaries is really stupid. Sure, some legendaries are among the strongest Pokemon in the game, but just as many are really mediocre like Cobalion or Moltres and some are just plain shitty like Regirock and Articuno. At the start of XY I built a pretty good team featuring Meloetta, getting into the top 50 before I got bored with the messed up meta. I created an original set feature Assault Vest, which made it into a really good tank. Basically the only thing that could completely stop Mega Gengar, a monster which was running rampant at the time.

Yeah breeding does take it's toll, that's for sure.

I have a full IV bred team but it's not really cohesive.

Thing is I don't own a copy of BW so I have to get my girlfriend to do the chore of collecting and transferring the hacks.

But since I've got a Trollpass lined up I can throw another Whimsicott in the line up for you. What nature did you want?

I can't stop laughing.

As a side note, there is something more fulfilling when you use a team you made up from scratch
Also, pokemon x and y graphics are smexy :3

Fun fact. Right now if you've got a 3DS and one of these:

And you've not registered them with Club Nintendo, you can do so and get X or Y for free. The promotion runs until March 31st, after which you can't get it for free anymore.
It's a pretty painless process, I did it myself today. Got me some X.

If you've already registered it, you're out of luck. The restrictions are pretty tight like that.

So, I've got a few 5IV (HP, Defense, S Attack, S Defense, Speed), Timid nature, Protean Froakies. Anyone want to trade something for one?
