This school should have a library right? Perhaps it has computers that are connected to the internet.

Leaving the room, you look around for a computer. There doesn't seem to be a computer lab on this floor, so you head to a stairwell and up to the second floor. Looks like the library is right over where the cafeteria is on the first floor.

Large windows set in the walls show shelves of books and a few rows of long tables with computers. Maria Summers is at one, along with a kid with a pompadour and leather jacket. You open the door and walk in.

Setting yourself down at one of the computers, you see the familiar login screen of Windows XP. All of the text is English, and opening up Internet Explorer, you're shown the town's homepage, which is also in English. Wikipedia seems to still be in English too, not counting the other language settings.

The internet seems to have escaped the Date unscathed.

He sits down a seat away from you.

Ms. Daeli: "Alright, let's start with some basics - how to stop bleeding!"
Female, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Long/Blonde, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

She begins writing a wall of text on the board.

1. Stop Bleeding
Apply direct pressure on the cut or wound with a clean cloth, tissue, or piece of gauze until bleeding stops.
If blood soaks through the material, don’t remove it. Put more cloth or gauze on top of it and continue to apply pressure.
If the wound is on the arm or leg, raise limb above the heart, if possible, to help slow bleeding.
Wash your hands again after giving first aid and before cleaning and dressing the wound.
Do not apply a tourniquet unless the bleeding is severe and not stopped with direct pressure.

2. Clean Cut or Wound
Gently clean with soap and warm water. Try to rinse soap out of wound to prevent irritation.
Don’t use hydrogen peroxide or iodine, which can damage tissue.

3. Protect the Wound
Apply antibiotic cream to reduce risk of infection and cover with a sterile bandage.
Change the bandage daily to keep the wound clean and dry.

Ms. Daeli: "Write it down and remember it!"

Hmm. There doesn't seem to be a Wikipedia page on the school or the town. When you try to Google search the town and country, it comes up blank.

After writing "Health" on the cover of your green notebook, you copy down the stuff on the board.

Ms. Daeli: "Okay, practice time."
Female, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Long/Blonde, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

She pulls out several rolls of bandages and a few markers from her desk drawer. You and the new guy get a marker each, as well as several rolls of bandages.

Ms. Daeli: "Mark each other to represent wounds, and then practice stopping bleeding and bandaging."
Female, Eyes: Blue, Hair: Long/Blonde, Skin: Light, Body: Average, Height: Average

SomewhatAthletic: "Um, okay."
Male, Eyes: Brown, Hair:Light Brown, Skin: Light, Body: Fit, Height: Average

He uncaps his marker.

SomewhatAthletic: "I guess I'll, uh, stab you a few times or something."
Male, Eyes: Brown, Hair:Light Brown, Skin: Light, Body: Fit, Height: Average

Well, there are printers at least, full of ink and ready to print.

Deciding on another subject, you look up medieval combat theory and practice.

Hmm. Usage of longswords, sword and shield, spears, quarterstaves. Battle formations, infantry types and roles. What should you start with?
