My re-sprites isn't really work in game.
When I play it ends up like this:
I have no idea what to do, any help please?

They are not in palette, check the palette tutorial, or just save them as a 256 colour bitmap. Windows 7 paint does not work for CC though, if that's what you're using then that's the problem. |

I use ms.paint and I use the palette in the base.rte folder |

I saved it as a bitmap. I'm sure, kinda new to spriting... how do I save in 256 color bitmap |

In the save as menu or whatever it will give you a dropdown menu under the name field, 256 colour bitmap is one of the options, alongside PNG, JPEG, etc. |

search.php?keywords=sprite+problem Try searching bro. But now that I am here anyway. What version of windows are you using? IIRC, paint from vista and forth don't work with the usual "open CC sprite and then sprite in palette colors" approach. You're either need to grab another painting program or see if you can get a hold of xp's paint. |

I'm using windows 7 with paint.net. And my save menu only has 24-bit and 8-bit |

Oh thanks, I thought paint.net was different from regular paint. Is there another program I could try because I could find gimp 2.6 |

graphicsgale graphicsgale graphicsgale graphicsgale graphicsgale Definitely my program of choice when it comes to spriting, and i'm reasonably sure several others can back me up on this. To make sure things are in the palette, you should always open palette.bmp in the CC folder with it and work from there, or another sprite that you're certain will have the right palette as well. |

Wait. You're telling me Paint.NET does not works for spriting? I thought it was the thing everyone used o.O (apart for me, I use paint XP because .NET is too complicated.). |
