I'd love to see keymapping functions, as this would mean things like secondary fire (eventually), button activation, returning to dropships, etc.

Uhh. That looks like you can't connect to the internet. Make sure Cortex Command is unblocked from any firewalls.

Old post, but I like the irony of this quote.
Someone from my favorite thread wrote:
Ignore LordTim, he's still under the illusion that he's both good at Lua and that Lua will be full integrated in build 21. (it won't be oh no)

Granted, the second part might still be true, but the first half was humorously voided right here XD
Gratz again Tim.

Here are some questions, could someone other than Lord Tim ask? (for more fair answers)
1. Is it easy to talk in the irc like this?
2. How much extra memory does it take?
3. Screen shots please?

Okay, I have no idea what you did. I would try reinstalling it or something.

Talking isn't the easiest thing to do, and I might change it soon, but you just type IRC:Say("Whatever") into the console, and press enter.

According to my tests, the Tutorial Mission runs at about ~115K memory for me, and the IRC Scene is ~112K memory, probably mostly due to not having any bunkers and actors at start. So really, it doesn't use up any more than usual.

And what you see in those screens is about all there is.

Ok. You should put up a link to an autotyper so people just have to press a button e.g. 1 and then type their message and then just do ) and press enter to finish it off.

Here's an example: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Programmin ... cker.shtml

Because most of these things are made for Runescape it will be hard to find a good one on the internet without some Runescapey in it e.g. being called "Runescape AT" or having a link to the runescape game in it. But people can use them outside runescape and use them anyway they want usually.

Yeah, I can do that now, actually, I just didn't have the input functions when I made the scene. I might update soon, though.

Tim, I officially love you now.

EDIT: Hmm, what would mods mean for mutiplayer? I'm sure everyone will have different mods, and I've modified my base.rte. Maybe there could be something like in Gmod, where all custom files are sent to the client upon their connection, and is cached. For base.rte mods, the game would just read from the cached base.rte instead of the client's. This is, of course, if working multiplayer is actually achieved. I have my doubts, though.

one word about that

LAAAAAG

It lags on Gmod too( alot smotimes), and that game was MEANT for multiplayer.

It would be better just to use Vanilla ones, seeing as its two Humans, you wouldnt need the Idiot killing power of the mods.

My base.rte mod is quite balanced, actually. And gmod doesn't lag when content is being downloaded from the server unless the host has a crap internet connection. One of my friends hosts two servers at a time from Norway on his computer and I live in England, and I get a really low ping on it, even when 3 people are joining simultaneously.

Simply fantastic.

Although... The spot you chose on the planet is where I was going to put my Crusade of Mons map . I'll have to choose some other mountain on the Planet.
