Try installing it on a new install of CC. (I have about 20 installs of CC on my computer)

You need to change the ScrollRatio too, otherwise the foreground gets messed up. If you take a look at the .ini you'll see that I did it like this:

      ScrollRatio = Vector
         X = -1.0
         Y = -1.0

Are you sure it's extracting properly? There's supposed to be a OpposingBases.rte folder in your Cortex Command directory, and in that folder there's supposed to be two files and another folder.

Depending on your options, WinRAR or WinZIP might extract the OpposingBases.rte folder into a folder with the filename first. Thus you get c:\Games\Cortex Command\OpposingBases_beta2\OpposingBases.rte. This is wrong. The OpposingBases.rte folder is supposed to be in the CC directory.

And thanks again for all the praise! I'm kind of working on a new map, with my own artwork. I don't know if it'll get beyond the concept stage. It would be good to sort out the problems with this one first though :(

I cant get it even show on the load screen!!!! I am running build 13 and the only other map i have is the tomato map that works on build 13 so it shows in the list. The game doesn't even realize that this map is here. :(

It works for me, no problem. But there is one thing, All type of crafts collides with something outside the screen before coming inscreen. And when they come inscreen the crafts are torn apart or they are crash landing :???: .

Despite this being an overall bad thing technically...it sounds awesome haha
