I've done a bit of searching but I really can't find anything conclusive. I know Data said he would port CC to Linux, but I'm just wondering if any progress has been made. While not nearly the size of the Windows usergroup, there are still plenty of Linux users out there that would enjoy this game.

Not to doubt your statement but... I'm doubting your statement. CC wasn't coded in the most portable of code languages, and there have been discussions about ports to other operating systems before. I honestly doubt that Data would be doing anything to port CC to Linux at this time, due to the fact that the game hasn't been finished yet. Even once he makes the final version, I doubt he's going to spend too much time appealing to a minority market for the game.

You can try WINE, but I tried that before, and just got a black screen every time I tried to run it. Maybe you'd have some better luck.

I think that he will port to Mac, but like NFS and P3l said, not till the games done. If he ports every beta to all the OS's, then he'll be spending time porting instead of working on the game.
