Pretty much what Alenth said. This will be even more obvious if you like bands with female singers like Tarja Turunen or the one from Magica.

Most of my metal head friends and myself enjoy some nice classical music so yeah sue me.

I actually have Tarja's album, it's okay, but I prefer what she did with Nightwish.

That was Nightwish's and Tarja's golden era.

The new singer is a wee bit weak when it comes to stress her voice as much as she can. In my opinion they should have just kept the guy with the beard (nope, i don't know any of their names).

Since you probably don't care anyway I'll just leave some Persuader.

He's the bassist, and it still in the band. He sings in a few numbers. He also sang for them before they even got Tarja, I believe.

Yes that guy. From what I heard in their songs and at the concert I think he would probably be just fine as the main vocalist.

It's jsut not the same. I mean, That girl, Anette or whatsherface, has a good voice, but Tarja was ♥♥♥♥ awesome.
I'd like to recommend some metal, Amon Amarth, a "viking metal" band. Pretty good, makes me want to tear my shirt in two, go to England to rape and plunder. But hey, that's just me. I've also begun to take a liking to the kind of music my dad calls "BONGO DRUMZ", which is techno, dance, trance, eurodance, jumpstyle, hardstyle and whatnot to everyone else. I specially like this track, Flight 643 by DJ Tiësto.
Last, this pearl here, Clint Mansell's remix of the "Requiem for a dream" theme which he did for a LOTR Two Towers game, "Requiem for a Tower"

Pretty much all kind of electronic music. Mostly into drum & bass, breakbeat and house now.
