Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Never mind mme ever saying the word "REALISM". Let's actually talk bout black ops, our favorite bull♥♥♥♥ tacticool shooter, shall we?
How you guys think they will do the zombie mode? Personally, I think they'll spend more time on it, considering it was half of WaW even how shitty it sorta was.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Honestly, I just hope Treyarch can make a more balanced game in terms of killstreaks and airstrikes. They also have to fix the perks so that nobody can go super sayan anymore. I'd like to see an updated or similar version of nazi zombies incorporated which was one of my favorite parts of WaW imo.
Im currently digging Medal of Honor and it's a pretty solid game so far. Multiplayer reminds me a lot of Battlefield bad company 2 with smaller maps.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
BO is likely getting improved zombie mode.
MoH is for hippies because it has no recoil at all.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Black Ops has a confirmed zombie mode.
Medal Of Honor looks pretty legit but I'm basing this (probably inaccurately) on the 30 second longer trailers I've seen for it on Zero Punctuation, so yeah, I should probably watch a review of it or something.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
The open beta was alright. The character felt sticky though, like if it had a little lag on the controls.

The game is a lot better than the beta was. The recoil is perfect imo because it's there but it doesnt screw up your aim at all.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Yeah, I sure do love playing games that try to base their gameplay on realism but in which infantry combat consists entirely of running around at ridiculous speeds stabbing people. Oh, and where all fighting takes place within 100 foot area. And where most kills made with an actual firearm are made at point-blank range with an assault rifle.

That's what I like about most guns in cod compared to the new MoH; you can't lodge every damn shot from your mag in someone unless you're firing controlled and not just spraying.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
I am gonna buy Black Ops for the sole purpose of trolling. I will find the weapon that is the most disliked and I will use that weapon until I reach such a level of perfection that people immediately quit the server after I've been in it in less than 5 minutes. There was nothing greater in CoD4 or CoD6 than getting the noobtube and spamming that ♥♥♥♥ until the entire other team of "pros" begin bitching and whining.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
I do that or in BC2 whenever I'm playing it. Very much a tactically viable weapon if you're sensible with reloading, especially considering how asplodey the terrain is

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Noobtubing is very fun in BC2 indeed, especially with both the explosive an the grenade upgrade :3 One shouldn't whine if someone is overusing the tube, because it actually takes a bit of skill to use, compared to some little less skill based ones (CG, M60, MG3, AN-94).
In my defense, it was already offtopic.

Re: Call Of Duty 7: Black Ops
Speaking of online shooters, love the balance in Metal Gear Online. Noobtube? Yeah, you'll be needing 20000 points (between 10-20 kills depending on how many are headshots etc) so you can get that RPG-7. Heavy machinegun sprayer? Good luck getting 5000 points for an M60, which is really truly a support rifle and not meant for wildly rushing while firing. Riot Shield abuser? MGO's riot shield is made out of metal- have fun trying to sprint with that. Love stabbing people? You'll probably have to sneak up on someone, knock them out, or get them in a chokehold for a knife kill- no cheap Commando here. (Then again, you can knock them out with the knife's taser function, but whatever. [Also, two of the "Special Characters" {which are randomly given to players during matches where Special Characters are enabled} have throwing knives, but they don't instakill if you hit someone in the foot or hand.])
In terms of weapon availability, it's quite fair for pros and noobs to duke it out- it all boils down to skill, since you can't preset your weapon outload before a match to be uber, you have to earn your upper-echelon weapons every time you fight. No whiners screaming about how they wouldn't have been killed if you didn't have akimbo MP5s with Rapid Fire- though naturally, you still get a couple of people complaining about lag.
>I am gonna buy Black Ops for the sole purpose of trolling.
Sounds fun.
