The future of America is being voted on today in California.

For the good of North America, Proposition 19 needs to pass.

I can hazard a guess that that Prop 19 will not effect in the slightest the fate of the free world.

I created this graph to show the varying support for Proposition 19, based on the raw data from the wikipedia article. I can't make excel 2010 do error bars, so I can't adequately take into account uncertainty, but there is a general decline and seems to be a consensus below the 50% line.

Government will hopefully see the tax revenue and reduced amount of drug use and eventually pass something similar into federal law.
This would (mostly) end the drug war.
That would save lives.

Also, TD, really? WIKI? lol

I don't think you're taking into account the fact that American politics is basically a big popularity contest, effectively summing up to two retards trapped in a perpetual slapfight. Only a minority actually cares about policy, while the rest of the population is content with sitting on its ass and letting those in charge act upon their own beliefs.

The wiki has all the poll results on it. I didn't get this from a poll of wiki users.

Pre-vote polls are always horrible.
I was just reading at least 3 different threads on GC about how off those polls are.
Something to do with the Something* Effect.

*Forgot what it was called.

Yeah there's all kind of uncertainty based on the demographics polled, and the methodology, like mobile phone users (i.e. youths) having far higher support than with landline polling. Then there's the difference between face to face polling and automated polling, with what people are willing to admit to someones face versus an anonymous computer.

This by no means therefore is conclusive, it's just discouraging that despite the uncertainty there is consensus below the level to pass.

Yes! I was hoping this would come! I was just worried to start my own.

Here's a cool trick:
Vyvanse ADD medicine has lysine bonded to it, which prevents you from snorting it because you need to break it down with your stomach acids.

However, If you soak it in citric acid and evaporate it cleaves off the lysine chain and makes it much more potent and short term!

Somebody flash evaporated off the citric acid in this example, but it is preferable to strain out the pulp several times and let the acid evaporate at a normal rate, as this results in a much purer, less ugly, less gummy, more fine powder

Another cool fact:
Mucinex DM has the same active ingredient as Robitussin, DXM, but has a much less nauseating and dangerous secondary ingredient. It is also in a pill form and can be purchased over the counter. Each tablet has 30 mg of DXM.

Shame about prop 19. At least it was close. A good chance for 2012.

As orphanim says in the marijuana post, sativa is more of a head high and indica is more of a body high.
