Re: Black Ops Mod Development Thread
To be honest, he isn't doing very much. But, he does make the offsets for me, it's very useful since I don't know how to code them correctly.

You could learn that easily and then drop the weak link.

Re: Black Ops Mod Development Thread
Oh you guyz. Have you thought about doing sentry guns or grenades that call in a napalm strike or stuff like that? I think I have a B-52 sprite somewhere that I stole of the internet Nvm lost it.

Ok, did some sprites, see if you like em. If so, keep them. Might update later. David I sent you a PM but then I did more and got bored and tired and thats why I posted.

I really love those sprites, most likely we will use both you and Major's sprites. Of course, both of you will get lots of credit.

Re: Black Ops Mod Development Thread
Just got internet fixed. lol weak link. @kettenkrad Yes, we are going to do sentry guns and such. I like your sprites, it is really hard to decide whose to use though.
JUST AN IDEA: for attachables. I was thinking of using some Lua to check if the person has the item in their inventory (you can only buy them in the loadout, may have to do some hacky stuff to get this to work per each gun) and changing the sprite to one with that attachable. I realize that this would be a real pain and would probably quadruple the size the mod. The only other way I know of is using attachments in the ini that are activated with Lua. Either way this is all hypothetical, but I would really love to get something in there for attachables.

Re: Black Ops Mod Development Thread
If you don't use KettenKrad's I will hunt you down and torture you to die the most painful death ever. Because they're too awesome and they look like they came straight out of BLACKOPS2D or something. (No offense Major!)

Re: Black Ops Mod Development Thread
We actually are using Kettenkrad's sprites. No offense Major, your sprites are just as good, it's just we think Ket's have a better style for the mod.

Re: Black Ops Mod Development Thread
If you guys are interested in making the gun balance analogous to Black Ops, I can give you the real stats. Gun StatsYes, the guns are mostly the exact same. The MW2 and CoD4 guns are usually very different from each other, but Trearch tends to do this.

Thanks Major, although I really love your style. I would suggest using a mix of both mine and his sprites, especially use his LAW.

Re: Black Ops Mod Development Thread
Alright, guys. I'm just waiting for Darkdoom to crop the sprites into separate pictures, and make mags for them. When he's done, I'll make an .ini storm, and we might release a early beta of the mod.
Y'all are going to have to wait for the more interesting things (Killstreaks, Perks), in order for the mod to really be enjoyable. Because, without the special Black Ops features, this mod will be just 1000 generic guns.
