I think I liked the previous version of the Tesla Riffle better. The new one does look a bit cooler, but it doesn't seem to be as lethal. I liked how the old one was almost a guaranteed kill on anything it hit, but every now and then the shot would ricochet funny or hit the ground and float there spining around slowly. It made it more exciting. The new one also seems to be doing something weird where when you fire it downward the shot sends out horizontal pulses every 100 pixels or so.

Oh yeah, and I totally forgot to update the changelog a bit.
By popular demand, I made non-tracer rounds visible, however slightly - they are now the neutral color, an exact balance between white and gray so that they almost blend in with the sky backgrounds, but are more visible indoors. Given the high velocity of the rounds, it's still difficult to spot them, but they are still visible. Bullet drop was also added, as something of a function of the new visibility. Previously, bullets were not affected by gravity, as I found the scale of the drop in vanilla bullets to be excessive. After making the bullets visible, they would hit surfaces and bounce off, now as visible particles, which made no sense. By adding GlobalAccScalar = 1 to every bullet, they now hit and bounce off only to settle on the ground. Tracers used to be a lot weaker than normal bullets, and now they are simply CopyOfs with a different color and a glow.
I'd like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the 34 people who filled out complete surveys. Your feedback has helped me a lot to improve the mod and tailor it to your interests! I'd also like to scold the 102 people who took a look at the survey and decided it not worth the effort. Thanks a lot. Really. At least leave a comment! I understand that a lot of people feel no reason to comment, as they don't really have any flaw they'd like to point out, but anything that you post here is helpful, even if it is just lavish praise. Telling me that you like an aspect of the mod is just as helpful as telling me that you don't like another - it teaches me what you as a fan like, and from that I can extrapolate likeable characteristics of parts of the mod and improve upon them to make them better, and then juxtapose this over all of my future changes.
I'm going to be adding the Heavy Cannon Turret in the next release - a super-powerful slug launcher firing super-high-explosive rounds. If you need an idea of the power, just know that the Light Cannon Turret fires "weak" explosive rounds. Imagine a Revolver Cannon scaled up 10 times. It will have a narrow firing arc, and will be a static defense like the Light Cannon Turret. On that note, I'm considering snipping off the "Light" prefix on the Light Cannon Turret and making a smaller version worthy of the title "Light."
There will be mobile cannons soon.
Work on the Coalition Assault Walker is moving much faster than I though.

In other news, I like this a lot! The only thing I do not like is Green Storm being a separate faction, they seem like they should just be coalition.

Preset guns for troopers are annoying and unnecessary. I hate dropping the damn shotgun every time I buy a heavy trooper.

I would have taken the quiz but it was broken and wouldn't let me finish it, then my computer crashed and I couldn't use it until now. :c
IN OTHER NEWS, I like the new turrets. I'm the kind of guy who is over paranoid about losing so I always buy tons of base defense modules and end up with no money to buy troops. Now I can have cheap, affordable, adorable, ironically named turrets to ♥♥♥♥ some guys ♥♥♥♥ up down the hall.
