when I tried to get in the server it said player(a nil value) :???:

This mod has not been updated for a very long time, and currently no servers are being hosted for it.

Actually since this mod is so light it wouldn't be very hard to update, the problem is that nobody has offered to run any servers for any length of time, so the mod has no current purpose.

I can update this if someone can explain why Cortex Command doesn't seem to like using the Lua 5.1 DLL. Does it have to be in the Base.rte folder?

I think I managed to crudely update this :D

Download the original, then just replace online.rte.

Oh yeah, you will need to edit Online2.lua to point to the correct IP address.

Tested with Corpsey on b30, works with windows + steam.
To get my server ip: http://steamcommunity.com/unit158/
