Those are pretty cool, actually. You planning to make those as mods?
also in other news i painted a fish
spoiler because SIIIIIIIIIIIZE
I am actually pretty happy with this. I forgot lines on the lower fins, but eh, the eyebrows draw all your attention anyways. :U (also it is appropriately titled "horsing around")

Yes i'm trying to but if i'm being honest its not going to well as i haven't done spriting for a very long time and then of coruse i wasn't really that good at it, so if you've got nothing to do your welcome to jump in and sprite it because the conventionally the bulk of the script has already been written by someone else.
I am actually getting super jealous of your developing art skills, Shook. Everything you make has so much character and even your technical side is improving pretty steadily.
I see what you mean, those particular fins are ♥♥♥♥ annoying to try to give proper perspective. Thanks very much! c:

Oh man, all these feels. :I But bro, i am not somebody to be jealous of, i learn artings ridiculously slowly because of my dumb and stubborn approach of refusing to take references and what have you. I am also pretty much useless outside of drawing fish, dinosaurs and cartoony faces. Realism is a concept that eludes me time and time again, although fortunately i actually prefer drawing in a cartoony style over realism. Still though, it wouldn't hurt to be ABLE to draw in a realistic manner, as opposed to the clay-like mutant figures that tend to emerge when i try to do that.
But, far be it from me to dismiss compliments.

You have no idea how glad i am to hear that. <3 Character and expression are the alpha and omega for me when it comes to art, and it is super nice to know that i am somewhat succeeding at it. Technicalities are of course nice as well, but a technically perfect drawing without character and/or expression probably isn't going to appeal to me all that much. As an example of one of my favourite art styles on deviantART, there's this thing by IsisMasshiro. Incredibly expressive overall, and an impressive technical skill to top it off. I WISH i could get anywhere near that level of ART POWER, but alas, i must power on with what i have at the moment. I remain confident, however, that if i just keep going and have fun, improvement will come all by itself. :v
and that was much more CHOO CHOO FEEL TRAIN than i had originally planned but oh well
being tired does that to me
:v

Shook, you're very deserving of the acclaim you get. The characters you can perfectly convey their expressions and you've got a good sense of humor to boot. Keep it up!
I drew James Randi
(the right eyebrow shadow pisses me off so much)

I really like that train one, the colors really pop. I love the reflections on the rails.
Moth scales!
I thought this was totally crazy when I figured out I could get this close.
That is ♥♥♥♥ fantastic, incredibly photorealistic! Just how long did that take you?

ACH MEIN GOTT THOSE COLOURS
Are they straight up picked from photo references, or are you just ridiculously good at picking the right colours from the palette? Super impressive either way!

Some people might feel a bit inadequate posting ♥♥♥♥ right after so many awesome things, but hey, i am not such a person. :U
Background in general was super quick and crude, especially the... Green hills. Wienerdragon himself took twice as long as the entire background.

Re: Art Dump
Adriaan those drawings are incredible. The castle one has the colours just right and the train captures the moment perfectly! Also I'm totally stealing that mech design.
Anyway, here's the first WiP picture from a personal project of mine that recently got a reboot when I found an efficient way to turn solids into polygons. The most grim of dark weapons, I present you the chainaxe! Obviously not done yet. With the basic hard surfaces done as solids it's now time to sculpt a more "stick like" Handle. I've already got a fully rigged and animated system for the chain, with a more elegant teeth design as a cherry on top. This is a quick render with basic materials in keyshot, but eventually it will be animation ready for one of my less "civilized" characters.

Re: Art Dump
I'm not entirely sure what i was going for.. but i decided to sketch my own version of the factory with a controller at the heart of it or maybe its a turret, the idea was a factory that would receive conscripts from collectors and would teleport them to the factory to be converted into soldiers similar to stroggification in quake, which would mean that a entire faction could have every unit and maybe even weapon? i was thinking of maybe sketching some factory's for rockets and dropships but i'm not really in the mood.

Re: Art Dump
dreadnought attach to dummy legs but this version is brainbot, that has a controller encase within and instead of using the default smg that dreadnoughts have it has attached arms for usage of weapons
