heh, noice. a random word generator's not a bad idea for just practicing drawing or arting in general; makes you do a bunch of random things.
yea its nice for when you arent sure quite what you want to draw. i usually default to doodling dogs and its gotten pretty stale, and its hard to look for inspiration without getting really into it, so its nice to be able to just press a button for some quick ideas. also lets me expand outside of what subjects i usually fall into.

You need way more rainbow furry multi-dicks in your gallery, it's hardly a proper FA gallery!

Snazzy! This also perfectly illustrates why i like aliased lines; fill colouring is like *click* and then done, no need to ♥♥♥♥ around with copious amounts of layers and selection tools and paint brushes and what have you. Just ONE FUGGIN CLICK and then you've either coloured exactly what you want or the entire canvas. :v Also re: it feeling like spam, you need not worry about that unless you've been posting like 8 times on the same page without spoilers (which you have not).
i have always enjoyed working with aliased art because i find it more forgiving, ive been experiementing with it some more recently and i am just getting so much more out of it to be honest- i feel like i can be more loose with it. which... is probably just because so much of my art is done for commission work that im tired of the same old same old, but still having trouble breaking the mold, but anyways i digress. i dont feel guilty when i post large images and whatnot since its practically expected, but i do make an effort not to repeat the same images, especially when they are small and insignificant doodles.
ill uhhh.. ill end this with a contribution to the thread.. here are some doodles from a month or so ago of some skunks, i was planning on doing something with them but have since had other things come up, so theyve gone untouched:
Oh my, who'd have thought such a smelly animal could be so cute? :v

WELL THEN, all is mostly well. I also think that aliased art feels more forgiving (for some odd reason that i can't explain), and if i use a similar brush with smoothing, it usually ends up looking wrong to me. Could be because i have roots in pixel art?? Although to be fair to myself, if i use a smoothed brush with 50% opacity, it USUALLY doesn't end up looking wrong. I mostly do that if i am to make things look painty, though. When it comes to quick doodles, thick aliased lines are definitely my deal all the way.
Also, i feel the need to state that i have gone on a quest to do at least one silly doodle per day. With the new brush, this is actually going pretty well. This means that i am probably going to be dumping stuff here on a fairly regular basis. :v
he is confused about something
i tried to do a SUPER QUICK self portrait which ended up being extremely eh
i then turned down the pressure sensitivity on my pen and made this monstrosity (which i am actually fairly happy with)

I feel left out considering I can't draw for sh-t. *sadface* I do write from time to time, and since I started college, I've been getting in the zone.
...idk why I said that. the writing is weird, but if ya really want to see it (and have an FA account) I'll link. personally, I'm proud of em, but FA, so yeah.
also MORE DINO-F_KING-SAURS.

I had to do this as an image manipulation assignment. It's supposed to be a book cover.

Re: Art Dump
heres some rather crude pencil drawings i did during a test i took tuesday morning while i was waiting for others to finish, i had forgotten about them but apparently crumpled this up and threw it in my purse. each one of these pitiful doodles was a minute or less, the only ones worth noting are the heron, the raccoons, and maybe the skunk. people were staring as i scribbled them loudly.
